ORLEvanceTASTE+ is a premium-quality propylene glycol intended for applications in the food industry, produced at our modern facility in Trzebinia.Obtained from certified plant-based raw materials through the catalytic reaction of technical glycerin with hydrogen and advanced vacuum distillation, it is characterized by exceptional purity, stability, and reproducibility of parameters, ensuring reliable quality across a wide range of applications. Propylene glycol produced by ORLEN Południe is characterized by an approximately 70% lower carbon footprint compared to the “market for propylene glycol, liquid; Europe (RER)” dataset available in the Ecoinvent 3.11 database.*
*The product carbon footprint is calculated by applying a “cradle-to-gate” approach in accordance with the EN 15804 + A2 Method, including a 1% mass cut-off criterion and the agreed exclusions. The calculations are based on 2024 data, in line with ISO 14040, ISO 14044, ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol, and have been verified by an independent third party.
