We are a polish leader in biofuels. We operate in the areas of refinery components, biorefinery components, oleochemical products, and chemical products. We create new opportunities for industry and agriculture, taking into account local businesses.
In recent years, the company’s development has been associated with a transformation toward a biorefinery model. We invest in technologies that increase the share of biocomponents and low-emission products, converting renewable and waste raw materials into valuable components for various industries, with a strong focus on know-how and process optimization.
Our activities are part of the ORLEN Group’s strategy, which aims at developing zero-emission fuel sources, modern energy infrastructure, and transforming the refining segment.
Our production facilities are located in Trzebinia in the Małopolska region and in Jedlicze in the Podkarpackie region. A third production facility — a modern oil pressing plant — is being built in Kętrzyn, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
In Trzebinia, the following products are manufactured, among others:
- biocomponents produced from used cooking oils and animal fats,
- hydrorefined paraffins in the most modern installation in Central and Eastern Europe,
- automotive-grade hydrogen.
At our refinery in Jedlicze, the company’s largest investment is being implemented — the construction of a second-generation bioethanol production complex. As a result, in addition to the new installation that will produce advanced biofuel, a new on-site combined heat and power (CHP) plant has also been built.
Jedlicze is also home to the only facility of its kind in Poland, specializing in the industrial regeneration of used and waste oils into high-quality base oils.
