ORLEvancePURE is a propylene glycol obtained through the catalytic reaction of technical glycerin with hydrogen, produced at our modern plant in Trzebinia. The advanced purification and distillation process guarantees exceptional purity, parameter stability, and consistent batch quality, meeting the stringent requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Propylene glycol produced by ORLEN Południe is characterized by an approximately 70% lower carbon footprint compared to the “market for propylene glycol, liquid; Europe (RER)” dataset available in the Ecoinvent 3.11 database.*

*The product carbon footprint is calculated by applying a “cradle-to-gate” approach in accordance with the EN 15804 + A2 Method, including a 1% mass cut-off criterion and the agreed exclusions. The calculations are based on 2024 data, in line with ISO 14040, ISO 14044, ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol, and have been verified by an independent third party.
